How to make great chocolate chip cookies

One of my favorite cookies is Chocolate chip. They are relatively easy to make, especially if you have a mixer, but what if you don't? Well you could buy one or use this recipe for chewy delicious tastiness of a cookie. So let's get started shall we? Oh and I should mention I went ahead and doubled my recipe..because I love these.
So things you will need:
1 C. Butter (unsalted if you wish)
2 1/4 C. Flour
1 Tsp salt
1 Tsp. Baking soda
1/4 c. White sugar
1 1/4 c. Brown sugar (don't have brown sugar? mix molasses and white together 1 cup white sugar and 1 tbs of molasses)
1 Egg
1 egg yolk (the yellow part)
2 Tb of milk
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
2 C. of chocolates (I mix 1/2 c white chocolate 1 c  "Chocolate candies" and 1 c dark chocolate ...yes I , know more than two cups but who cares feel free to mix this up any way)
Now let's get started! Melt the butter in a large bowl. In a different bowl mix together "dry ingredients" aka flour, baking soda, and salt, leave them in the bowl until we need them. Alright now is your butter melted? It is! Yay, add both of the sugars to the bowl and mix together, it'll be a brownish color. This step is called "creaming" basically you want to mix until it is very well blended, this is easier if you have a mixer if not it'll take you about two minutes. Add the two eggs, milk and vanilla, mix until combined. Slowly add the flour mixture a little at a time (typically a third at a time) once combined add your chocolate chips or other combination.  These cookies are amazing and this week we have the lovely test subject Tiffanie enjoying them.
