how to make chocolate chip muffins

I love muffins, they are my favorite breakfast food item, and they are easy to make from scratch there are just a couple of rules when making muffins you need to remember. But those will rules will come in later. So here we go things you will need:

2 c. flour
1/2 c sugar
3 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 c milk
1/3 c veggie oil
1 egg
3/4  - 1 c chocolate chips

So first of all mix all your dry ingredients together, besides the sugar of course.                 Anyway sift them together and then make a well. Aka pull the flour away from the middle and pour in the sugar, milk, oil, chocolate chips and mix until combined, here is the rule, DO NOT OVERMIX. If you over mix they will be tough and you don’t want a tough muffin, you want a melt in your mouth perfection. Anyway now put them in a muffin pan, use liners if you desire if not spray with pam or something. Now moving along for hint / tip / rule number two, sprinkle some sugar on top it will make the muffins look better and they will taste fantastic. now bake for 20 - 25 minutes at 400 and as long as they are golden brown they are done.  Anyway this is a fairly simple and tasty muffin!
